A Voice of Truth And Deliverance
History
In 1970 God performed a miracle for Rev. John F. Marcum. He
purchased our current location here at 225 E. 4th St. Newport, Ky
on a land contract at an unbelievable price. Rev. John F. Marcum
pastored here at 4th St. From 1970-1984.

In 1984 Rev. John F. Marcum had a severe stroke and stepped
down as pastor and in 1990 Rev. John F. Marcum went to be with
the Lord. After the death of Rev. John F. Marcum, Rev. Scotty
Grooms pastored for 3 months. Then Rev. John F. Marcum's first
son Rev. Ronald Ray Marcum became the pastor and pastored
from 1984-1995.

Our present pastor is Rev. William F. Marcum, the second son of
Rev. John F. Marcum, he began pastoring in October of 1995. At
that time we did not have a congregation but by the help of the
Lord we have gained up to about 30 people. We have changed the
name of our church back to the original, "Newport Pentecostal
Holiness Church" in December of 2006.
